Har Ghar Tiranga

“The Vibrant ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Initiative: A Patriotic Outpouring in Uttar Pradesh “

The chief minister of Uttar Pradesh began the “Har Ghar Tiranga” 2023 campaign and waves the flag at Gorakhnath Temple.

The Uttar Pradesh government has devised a praiseworthy strategy to adorn institutions, workplaces, and buildings—both residential and non-residential—with the Tricolour.

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister, launched this program, which is reminiscent of last year when an amazing 45 million flags were flown throughout the state. He personally raised the National Flag to begin the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign as he was standing on the grounds of the Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur. Mr. Adityanath even stood with the flag on the night before India’s 77th Independence Day to capture the patriotic mood and encourage others to get involved.

It’s noteworthy that Chief Minister Adityanath is actively involved in this patriotic movement as the mahant (head priest) of the Gorakhnath Temple, which adds a great depth to his commitment.

The Uttar Pradesh administration wants to duplicate the widespread display of the Tricolor as a continuation of the effective campaign from the previous year. Mr. Adityanath updated his social media profile photographs, adorning them with the National Flag as a digital expression of his dedication. To ensure students’ active involvement in the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, basic and secondary schools throughout the state reopened on Sunday. Plans had been made for the mid-day meal program.

A week of festive activities, including a respectful remembering of the partition era and the Independence Day, have been painstakingly organized by the administration of Uttar Pradesh. In addition to the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign on August 13, silent processions will be held on Partition Day, August 14, in all of the state’s districts to remember the battles and pay tribute to the casualties of that turbulent time.
The ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ program will be a heartfelt remembrance, with earthen lights lighting up in gratitude to the brave sacrifices made by our heroes.

In addition, the government wants to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifices, including the families of liberation fighters, military people, Central police forces, and the police department. To add to the week’s cultural activities and sustain the spirit of patriotism, districts will host Kavi Sammelans and Mushairas, or poetry gatherings.
